JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Department: Merchant Acquisition / Offline Sales / QR Code & Device Sales
Reports to: Area Sales Manager / Territory Sales Manager
Team Leadership:
Manage and supervise a team of Field Sales Executives (typically 8–15 members).
Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for the team.
Ensure adherence to performance and productivity KPIs.
Sales Execution:
Drive the sale of Paytm's offline products – QR codes, Soundbox, EDC (card swipe machines), and other merchant services.
Assist team members in closing high-value merchant deals or challenging leads.
Conduct field visits regularly to monitor execution and market presence.
Training & Onboarding:
Train new hires on product features, pitch techniques, and compliance.
Conduct refreshers and skill-enhancement sessions periodically.
Performance Monitoring:
Track daily performance metrics (installs, activations, usage).
Prepare reports and present insights to senior management.
Market Intelligence:
Collect and report feedback from the field (competition, pricing, merchant needs).
Suggest local strategies to boost market penetration.
Merchant Relationship Management:
Support merchants post-onboarding and ensure service quality.
Resolve escalated issues related to payments, onboarding, or hardware.
