Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and energetic Salesman to join our team in the plywood and laminate industry. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the plywood and laminates and possess excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new customers such as interior designers, contractors, builders, retailers, and furniture manufacturers.

Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business.

Understand product features, specifications, and benefits for plywood, laminates, veneers, and allied products.

Generate and follow up on leads to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Conduct site visits, client meetings, and product presentations.

Coordinate with the warehouse/logistics team for timely product delivery.

Handle customer queries, provide quotations, and negotiate terms of sale.

Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.

Maintain daily sales reports and update CRM systems as required.

Requirements:

Minimum 12th pass; Graduate preferred.

1+ years of experience in field sales (preferably plywood, laminates, hardware, or building materials).

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to travel locally or regionally.

Ability to meet sales targets and work under pressure.

Knowledge of local market and client base is a strong advantage.

Two-wheeler with valid driving license is preferred.
