Job Summary:
As a Field Business Development Manager – Sports Nutrition, you will be the front-line face of the brand, responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, developing strong field relationships, and executing retail and distribution strategies in your assigned territory. You will work closely with gyms, health stores, supplement retailers, and key accounts to increase market presence and drive volume.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead field sales activities to generate new business in gyms, fitness centres, health supplement stores, and general trade outlets.
Open and onboard new accounts, including small-format health shops, local chains, and independent retailers.
Meeting & follow ups with existing Dealers
Collect payments from clients
Develop strong field-level relationships with store managers, gym owners, trainers, and retail staff to drive product visibility and sell-through.
Execute trade activations, in-store promotions, and sampling campaigns to increase footfall and conversions.
Conduct regular market visits, stock audits, and competitor tracking.
Collaborate with distribution partners and ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Promotes on product USPs, pitch, and shelf placement.
Report on sales metrics, market conditions, and customer feedback to the head office.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
3–6 years of field sales or business development experience in FMCG, preferably in sports nutrition, dietary supplements, or health foods.
Strong local market knowledge and pre-existing network in gyms, supplement stores, and retail.
Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
Fluent in local language + English.
