Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
Identify and target potential customers, including SMEs, businesses, and enterprises that could benefit from Tally solutions.
Develop and execute strategies to generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, emailing, networking, and referrals.
Maintain a pipeline of prospective clients to ensure continuous growth.
Sales Presentations and Demos:
Conduct product presentations and software demonstrations to show how Tally solutions can address specific business needs.
Customize presentations based on client requirements and demonstrate relevant features of Tally (accounting, GST compliance, inventory, etc.).
Collaborate with the technical team to deliver in-depth product demos when required.
Understanding Customer Needs:
Engage with prospects and clients to understand their accounting, financial management, and business challenges.
Identify potential opportunities where Tally software can offer solutions to improve efficiency and compliance.
Sales Target Achievement:
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Create and implement action plans to achieve sales goals, grow market share, and maximize revenue.
Ensure proper follow-up on sales inquiries and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers by providing ongoing support and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Act as the point of contact for clients, addressing queries and providing timely solutions.
Ensure regular communication with existing clients to encourage renewals, cross-selling, and up-selling.
Market Research and Competitor Analysis:
Stay updated on market trends, industry changes, and competitor offerings to ensure Tally’s product positioning remains competitive.
Provide feedback to the product team on customer needs, market demands, and potential improvements.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and prospecting efforts using CRM software.
Prepare regular sales reports and update management on progress toward targets, market insights, and client feedback.
