The Education Loan Collection Executive is responsible for managing and collecting overdue education loan payments from customers, ensuring timely recovery while maintaining a professional and customer-friendly approach. The role involves follow-ups, repayment plan negotiation, field visits (if required), and maintaining proper records.
Contact customers for overdue education loan EMIs via calls, WhatsApp, emails, and field visits (if applicable).
Remind customers of due dates and ensure timely repayment.
Resolve customer queries related to loan accounts, repayment schedules, penalties, etc.
Track and trace customers who are unreachable or have changed contact numbers/addresses.
Conduct field visits to confirm customer addresses & collect payments (as per company policy).
Discuss repayment options, settlement offers, and restructuring plans with customers.
Convince customers to clear dues by explaining consequences of non-payment.
Maintain accurate records of calls, follow-ups, field visits, and collections.
Update collection status in CRM/collection system.
Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports.
Follow RBI and company compliance guidelines on fair collection practices.
Maintain professional behavior and avoid harsh or threatening communication.
Minimum qualification: 12th Pass / Graduate preferred
Experience in Loan Collections (Education Loan, Personal Loan, BL, PL, Credit Cards) preferred
Good communication & negotiation skills
Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Email, CRM)
Ability to handle pressure and meet monthly targets
Field collection experience is an added advantage
Based on experience & company policy (Fixed + Performance incentives)
