The Divisional Head will be responsible for overall branch sales, profitability, training, portfolio building and overall branch performance. This includes sales growth, collections efficiency, portfolio quality, customer retention, operational compliance, and people management. The role demands both strategic oversight and hands-on involvement in market development and customer relationship building.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Business & Sales Performance
Drive new business acquisition, renewals, and revenue growth for assigned branches.
Achieve chit subscription targets and ensure healthy portfolio mix (new business vs. renewals).
Develop and execute local market penetration strategies.
B. Collections & Portfolio Management
Monitor branch-level collections daily and ensure timely follow-ups on defaults.
Maintain portfolio quality and minimize overdue cases.
Engage in joint customer visits with branch teams for critical accounts.
Track and ensure timely settlement of undisbursed prize money.
C. Customer Engagement & Retention
Manage and strengthen relationships with HNI customers and key accounts.
Lead customer engagement initiatives to improve retention and referrals.
Act as an escalation point for customer concerns and service issues.
D. Operational Excellence
Oversee documentation accuracy, contract completion, and record-keeping in compliance with chit fund regulations.
Coordinate with the Operations Head for key business approvals and policy clarifications.
Ensure branches adhere to all statutory and company-specific operational standards.
E. Team Leadership & Development
Directly manage 3–4 branch managers and indirectly guide 12–15 branch staff.
Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for branch teams.
Conduct regular review meetings and implement performance improvement plans.
