We are seeking a results-driven and proactive Field Construction Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is responsible for generating new business and managing existing client relationships in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and sales strategies, along with a proven ability to close deals and meet targets in a competitive, field-based environment.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed assigned sales targets within the construction sector.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, cold calling, and site visits.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, developers, architects, engineers, and procurement officers.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations on-site to educate clients about our solutions.
Prepare and present proposals, bids, and quotations in coordination with the internal sales support and estimating teams.
Provide input and feedback from the field to influence marketing and product development strategies.
Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity.
Collaborate with project teams and logistics to ensure customer satisfaction through timely delivery and execution.
Keep detailed records of interactions, opportunities, and sales activities using CRM tools.
Attend trade shows, construction expos, and networking events as required.
Proven experience (1+ years) in construction sales, building materials, equipment, or a related industry.
Strong knowledge of construction project lifecycles, terminology, and key stakeholders.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field.
