The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the company. The role involves market research, lead generation, client meetings, proposal submissions, and achieving monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Identify potential clients through market research, cold calling, networking, and online platforms.
Maintain and update the lead database.
Contact prospective clients to introduce company services/products.
Schedule and conduct client meetings, presentations, and product/service demos.
Understand client requirements and propose suitable solutions.
Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
Follow up on leads and ensure timely conversion.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Prepare and submit proposals, quotations, and commercial documents.
Negotiate terms, pricing, and close deals.
Coordinate with internal teams (operations, finance, technical) for service delivery.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
Provide feedback and suggestions for improving products/services.
Assist in preparing marketing strategies and sales plans.
Submit daily/weekly sales reports.
Maintain records of client interactions, sales pipeline, and conversion status.
Update CRM or company software regularly.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in sales or business development (freshers with strong communication skills may also apply).
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet targets.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms.
