Job Title: Business Development Manager Job Summary
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role involves strategic planning, market research, partnership development, and working closely with internal teams to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities1. Business Growth & Strategy
Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales and revenue targets.
Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments.
2. Client Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
Conduct meetings, presentations, and product/service demonstrations.
Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and pitches to potential partners.
3. Sales & Negotiation
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and partnership agreements.
Track and report on key sales metrics and pipeline progress.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment.
Provide feedback to internal teams based on market insights and client needs.
Collaborate on promotional campaigns, product launches, and events.
5. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare regular sales forecasts, business performance reports, and strategic recommendations.
Maintain accurate records of all opportunities, activities, and communications in CRM systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master’s is a plus).
Proven experience (3–5 years) in business development, sales.
Strong understanding of sales processes, negotiation techniques, and market dynamics.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build relationships and close deals effectively.
Proficiency with CRM software, MS Office/Google Workspace.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
