The Business Development Manager (BDM) will play a key leadership role in expanding partnerships, building employer networks, driving collaboration with institutions, and generating opportunities for training and employment programs. The BDM will lead the business development vertical, design strategies, and ensure growth in line with organizational goals.
Identify, develop, and manage partnerships with corporates, employers, NGOs, institutions, and training partners.
Generate new business opportunities to support placement, training, and livelihood programs.
Lead end-to-end partnership cycle: lead generation, meetings, proposals, negotiations, and onboarding.
Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
Explore new markets, sectors, and opportunities aligned with the organization’s mission.
Work on proposals, MoUs, presentations, and project expansion plans.
Coordinate with internal teams — placement, mobilization, counselling, and program operations.
Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders for long-term collaboration.
Represent the organization in events, job fairs, CSR meetings, and networking forums.
Maintain partner databases, reports, and CRM records.
Track leads, conversions, and revenue opportunities.
Submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to management.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

Ability to work independently and lead initiatives
Good understanding of training, skill development, employment, and NGO operations
Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Management, or related fields
4–10 years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, Sales, CSR, or Employer Connect
Experience in NGO, skill development, education, or livelihood sector preferred
Proven track record of achieving targets and building partnerships
