We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) Executive to spearhead our growth initiatives across B2B and B2C segments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lead generation, government and defense sales, key account management, and a performance-oriented approach to expanding our market presence. You will play a pivotal role in developing strategic relationships, driving sales, and delivering actionable insights through reporting and analysis.
Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and qualify new business opportunities across B2B and B2C channels, with a focus on government, defense, PSU, and other key sectors.
Market Research & GTM Strategy: Assist in formulating go-to-market strategies tailored to target segments, leveraging GEM knowledge and industry insights.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts, government agencies, defense organizations, and other stakeholders.
Sales Execution & Closure: Drive end-to-end sales processes, from pitching solutions to closing deals, ensuring achievement of monthly and quarterly targets.
Key Account Management: Develop strategic plans for key accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Direct Sales & Business Expansion: Engage in direct sales efforts, expanding our footprint in targeted sectors.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Maintain accurate sales reports, track KPIs, analyze sales data, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product teams, and other departments to align sales strategies and enhance customer engagement.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to government and defense procurement policies, maintain comprehensive documentation for sales and negotiations.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
Proven experience in B2B and B2C sales, especially in government, defense, PSU sectors.
Strong understanding of GTM strategies, lead generation, and customer relationship management.
Knowledge of GEM portal, government procurement processes, and defense sales.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze sales data and generate insightful reports.
Performance-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Existing network within government, defense, or PSU sectors.
Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
