Hiring Travel Sales / Business Development Executive for Tours & Travels, Company at Charni Road, Mumbai.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Travel Sales / Business Development Executive to join at Charni Road, Mumbai office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling travel inquiries, converting leads into bookings, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the travel planning process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to domestic and international travel inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins
• Provide customised travel solutions, including tour packages, hotel bookings, flights, and transportation
• Convert leads into confirmed bookings through follow-ups and client engagement
• Coordinate with suppliers, hotels, and agents to confirm travel arrangements
• Maintain records of all bookings, payments, and client communications
• Assist in preparing itineraries, quotations, invoices, and travel documents
• Ensure timely and smooth travel execution for clients, resolving issues as needed
• Support in marketing campaigns, promotions, and upselling travel products
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and repeat customers
• Stay updated on travel trends, destinations, and regulations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Travel & Tourism / Hospitality / Business preferred
• 2–5 years of experience in travel sales or coordination (freshers with good communication may apply)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Email)
• Knowledge of travel booking platforms/GDS is an advantage
• Customer-focused with a passion for travel
Working Days & Hours: Monday to Saturday 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Salary: Rs. 25-40K Per Month
