Job Summary:
As a Field Sales Executive, you will be the face of the company in the market. Your primary responsibility will be to generate new business, promote IT products, and build lasting relationships with clients. While your main focus will be B2B sales (targeting small to mid-size enterprises, educational institutions, corporates, etc.), prior experience in B2C sales will also be considered if you have a strong drive and aptitude for solution-based selling.
Key Responsibilities: Sales & Client Acquisition
Identify and generate leads through field visits, networking, cold calling, referrals, and market intelligence.
Conduct in-person meetings with prospective clients to understand their IT needs and propose relevant solutions.
Present, promote, and demonstrate IT products and solutions (hardware, software, cloud, security products, etc.).
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demos to decision-makers.
Client Relationship Management
Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
Act as a single point of contact for assigned clients – addressing product queries, handling concerns, and ensuring post-sale support coordination.
Sales Strategy & Execution
Maintain a deep understanding of product features, pricing, and competitive advantages.
Follow up consistently to move leads through the sales pipeline.
Achieve and exceed assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Collaborate with internal teams (technical, marketing, support) to close deals and ensure smooth delivery.
Reporting & Market Intelligence
Maintain accurate and timely records of daily activities, client interactions, and sales closures using CRM tools/spreadsheets.
Submit daily/weekly reports on leads generated, meetings held, and revenue forecast.
Keep an eye on competitor activity, pricing trends, and emerging technologies in the market.
Skills & Qualifications:
Educational Background: Graduate in any discipline (BBA, B.Tech, or MBA preferred but not mandatory).
Experience: 1–4 years of proven experience in B2B or B2C field sales. IT/Tech product sales experience is highly preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English & local language).
Comfortable with field work and client visits on a daily basis.
Confidence in client-facing roles and handling objections.
Basic understanding of IT hardware/software and its business applications.
Ability to grasp technical product details and convey benefits effectively.
Goal-oriented and self-driven with a passion for achieving sales success.
Mandatory: Own two-wheeler with valid driving license.
