Position : Sales Manager
Key Responsibility
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Achieve predetermined Monthly sales targets.
Identify, select, and coordinate with potential clients through his skill and network.
Generated leads and inquiries and identified opportunities relevant to coal sales.
Work closely with customer service, quality control, operations, safety, and credit.
Conducted field, plant, and head office visits for the allotted client list and executed selling parameters that conform to SMs' SOPs.
Preparation and submission of proposals with the support of the backend
Achieving technical and commercial closure with clients.
Attending and closing client negotiations
Possess knowledge and ability to interact with sub-vendors / suppliers
Conduct presentations at client premises
Support the backend team in fulfilling documentation requirements about sales orders.
Familiar with CRM systems and tools
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industrial clients.
Can get work orders from respective clients (related to industries that use coal as a fuel source).
Coordinate actively within the sales department to fulfil and execute coal sales.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
Do problem-solving for unloading on client-site
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Travel to meet with designated clients and attend industry-specific events
Build network/contacts with purchase/procurement persons of various industries of Distilleries, cement plants, fertilizers, chemicals, textiles, paper mills, sugar mills, and others
Staying current with local government regulations and having experience handling a team are mandatory requirements.
