Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Cattle Feed

Job Purpose:

To drive sales, achieve targets, and manage a team of Sales Officers/Dealers in the assigned area by developing the cattle feed market, ensuring product availability, and building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets.

• Appoint, train, and manage Sales Officers, Dealers, and Distributors.

• Expand market coverage by identifying new business opportunities.

• Build strong relationships with farmers, veterinarians, and channel partners.

• Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain credit discipline.

• Conduct regular field visits to monitor sales activities and provide guidance to the team.

• Organize farmer meetings, product demonstrations, and promotional activities.

• Monitor competitor activities and suggest strategies to counter competition.

• Maintain MIS reports, sales data, and submit periodic performance reviews.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing, and marketing guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, or any stream (MBA preferred).

• 0-5 years of sales experience in cattle feed / agri-inputs / veterinary products.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving ability.

• Knowledge of local market and rural network.

• Willingness to travel extensively.
