The role of an Area Business Manager (ABM) in HDFC Life's Agency Channel involves leading and recruiting & managing a team of Leaders who will further recruit agents to drive insurance sales and achieve business targets. This position is pivotal in expanding the company's distribution network and ensuring the delivery of quality insurance solutions to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Team Recruitment and Development:
Recruit and build a high-performing distribution network of Leaders. Train, motivate, and guide these leaders to recruit Advisors (agents) and sell insurance through them.
Sales and Target Achievement:
Drive sales through the Agency Business Partner (ABP) channel, ensuring the achievement of revenue targets within budget constraints.
Customer Engagement:
Meet prospective customers alongside FCs to sell insurance solutions, providing both pre and post-sales service support.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure the quality of business and persistency by monitoring and managing the sales process effectively.
Digital Platform Utilization:
Encourage Leaders and Advisors to use the latest digital platforms, enhancing productivity and engagement.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies, maintaining accurate records and reports.
