We’re looking for a dynamic Area Sales Manager to lead sales operations and brand growth in the Mumbai region, managing both B2C and B2B sales channels.
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving sales, managing dealer and retail networks, and ensuring the brand’s visibility and growth within the assigned territory. This is a field-intensive role, requiring excellent relationship management, business development, and communication skills.
The ideal candidate should be proactive, passionate about sales, and have the ability to translate brand objectives into measurable regional performance.
Sales & Revenue Growth: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for Weber products through effective territory management and channel expansion.
Dealer & Retail Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and modern trade partners to maximize sales opportunities.
Market Development: Identify new business opportunities, untapped customer segments, and potential partnerships to expand Weber’s presence.
On-field Operations: Conduct regular market visits, ensure optimal product placement, merchandising, and maintain a strong brand presence across outlets.
Promotional Activities: Collaborate with the marketing team to execute local promotional campaigns, events, and product demonstrations to boost customer engagement.
Reporting & Analysis: Track daily sales performance, analyze trends, and share actionable insights with senior management for strategy alignment.
Customer Experience: Ensure excellent after-sales service and manage customer queries effectively to maintain brand reputation.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
3–6 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in premium consumer durables, appliances, or lifestyle brands.
Strong understanding of retail, distribution, and on-field sales operations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Proficiency in Excel, CRM tools, and reporting systems.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable with extensive travel within the region.
Basic marketing knowledge to support regional campaigns and brand activations.
