Job Summary:

Gubbacci Apparel Pvt. Ltd., a leader in custom apparel and uniforms, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in garment construction, alterations, and finishing, with a strong understanding of fabrics, fit, and style. The tailor will be responsible for crafting and modifying garments to meet customer specifications and uphold the quality standards of Gubbacci.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take accurate measurements and ensure proper garment fit for customers

• Stitch, alter, repair, and customize garments using industrial and domestic sewing machines

• Read and interpret patterns or technical drawings

• Work with a variety of fabrics including cotton, polyester, and specialty blends

• Collaborate with the design and production team to meet order deadlines

• Ensure high-quality finishing, pressing, and packaging of garments

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the tailoring workspace

• Provide fitting advice and suggestions to improve garment aesthetics

• Adhere to safety and quality control standards

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a tailor or in garment production

• Skilled in hand sewing, machine stitching, cutting, and finishing

• Knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and alterations

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Basic understanding of measurements and pattern adjustments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with school uniforms, corporate clothing, or custom apparel

• Familiarity with industrial sewing equipment

• Multilingual ability is a plus
