The candidate should have expertise in tailoring for men’s, women’s, or kids’ wear (depending on requirement), and must ensure high-quality fitting and finishing as per customer specifications or fashion trends.

Take accurate body measurements and understand customer requirements.

Cut fabrics as per patterns and designs.

Stitch, alter, and finish garments with neatness and precision.

Supervise and guide junior tailors or helpers in stitching tasks.

Handle different types of fabrics, styles, and fashion trends.

Ensure timely delivery of finished garments.

Maintain cleanliness and order in the tailoring workspace.

Provide suggestions to customers regarding styles, patterns, and fitting.

Handle repair, modification, and alteration requests.Strong knowledge of stitching techniques, fabric types, and garment construction.

Ability to operate sewing machines and other tailoring tools.

Good eye for detail, creativity, and fashion sense.

Strong measurement and fitting skills.

Leadership ability to manage and guide tailoring staff.
