Key Responsibilities
· Buyer Communication:
Liaising with buyers to understand requirements, negotiating costs, and obtaining approvals for samples, fabric, and trims.
· Product Development:
Developing samples (proto, fit, sales samples) based on buyer requirements and market trends.
· Costing:
Calculating garment costs by working with factories and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
· Raw Material Management:
Sourcing and approving fabrics, trims, and accessories, and ensuring their timely availability for production.
· Production Monitoring:
Scheduling production, following up on progress, and coordinating with factories to ensure timely completion.
· Quality Control:
Advising and coordinating with the quality department to ensure that garments meet buyer specifications and approved standards.
· Inspection and Shipment:
Arranging final inspections, preparing all necessary shipping documents, and following up on shipment to ensure on-time delivery.
· Documentation:
Preparing purchase orders, internal order sheets, and handling all related documentation for the process.
· Internal Coordination:
Acting as a liaison between different departments, including production, quality, and commercial teams, to ensure smooth workflow.
