The Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the facility, ensuring an excellent customer experience, and supporting the Centre Manager in managing staff, events, and court activities. This role requires strong leadership, customer service, and problem-solving skills to maintain a fun and organised environment for all players and visitors.
● Oversee the cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality of courts, equipment, and common areas.
● Assist with scheduling and coordinating court reservations, tournaments, leagues, and events.
● Enforce facility policies and procedures to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
● Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs to management.
● Greet and assist customers, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
● Address customer questions, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.
● Assist with check-ins, registrations, and point-of-sale transactions.
● Support the Center Manager in supervising coaches and maintenance personnel.
● Ensure staff members follow facility policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
● Fill in for staff when necessary to ensure seamless facility operations.
● Help coordinate and execute leagues, tournaments, clinics, and special events.
● Ensure events run smoothly and address any issues that arise.
● Support instructors and coaches in delivering high-quality training sessions.
● Assist with managing schedules, reports, and facility bookings.
● Help track inventory for equipment, supplies, and merchandise.
● Handle offline bookings at the facility
● Previous experience in sports facility operations, recreation, or customer service.
● Knowledge of pickleball or other racquet sports is a plus.
● Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
● Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
● Comfortable with technology, including scheduling software and point-of-sale systems.
● Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
● Experience supervising staff in a sports or hospitality setting.
● Background in event coordination and customer engagement.
