Job Summary:
The Technical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all technical operations related to building maintenance, ensuring equipment and systems function efficiently and safely. This role involves supervising maintenance teams, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day technical operations including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, maintenance.
Assign and monitor work to technicians, ensuring timely and quality service delivery.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues and schedule preventive maintenance.
Maintain documentation for maintenance schedules, breakdown reports, inventory logs, and service records.
Coordinate with external vendors for specialized services and ensure adherence to SLAs.
Handle emergency breakdowns and ensure quick resolution to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory requirements.
Assist Facility Manager in planning and executing energy-saving and improvement projects.
Provide training and guidance to technical staff for performance enhancement.
Prepare daily/weekly reports and update management on technical operations.
Qualifications:
Diploma/ITI in Electrical/Engineering or related technical field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in technical supervision
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, DG sets, fire alarm systems, and BMS.
Good communication, leadership, and team management skills.
Proficient in using maintenance management software and MS Office tools.
Ability to work in shifts and under pressure when needed.
Preferred Skills:
Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance planning.
Working knowledge of safety regulations and statutory compliance
Familiarity with AMC vendor coordination and technical audits.
Education
UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Diploma in Electrical
