Job Title: Technician (Field Operations)

Location: Chennai

Salary: ₹20,000 per month

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Technician to join our field operations team. The ideal candidate will ensure 24×7 uptime of telecom sites by conducting routine maintenance, adhering to safety protocols, and reporting faults promptly. This role is suitable for both freshers and experienced candidates with a background in Telecom, Tower Companies, or Passive Infrastructure Vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Ensure 24×7 site uptime through proactive monitoring and maintenance.

·         Conduct monthly visits to all assigned sites to inspect and perform routine checks.

·         Follow JIO safety protocols and always use the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) while on duty.

·         Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance of passive infrastructure (e.g., DGs, batteries, electrical panels, earthing systems).

·         Identify and report faults or issues immediately to the concerned team.

·         Maintain proper records of site visits, maintenance activities, and fault resolutions.

Required Qualifications

·         Diploma or Equivalent Qualification in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics)
OR ITI in Electrical / Electronics.

Preferred Industry Experience:

·         Candidates from Telecom, Tower Companies, or Vendors with Passive Infrastructure background will be preferred.

·         Both Freshers and Experienced candidates may apply.
