Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Electrician to join our team on a construction site. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in accordance with local and national electrical codes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install wiring systems for lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and other construction-based electrical systems.

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.

• Identify electrical problems using appropriate testing devices.

• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and site safety standards.

• Collaborate with other construction professionals (plumbers, carpenters, HVAC technicians).

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.

• Maintain records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program.

• Valid electrician license or certification (as required by local laws).

• Proven experience working as an electrician on construction sites.

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and building codes.

• Ability to work in physically demanding environments and at heights.

• Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in the trade.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
