Job Purpose

To ensure uninterrupted electrical operations and maintenance at Theobroma's retail outlets, commissaries, and/or production units. This includes maintaining all electrical fittings, kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, and ensuring safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repair of all electrical systems including lighting, wiring, sockets, and circuit breakers.

• Troubleshoot and repair bakery equipment like ovens, refrigerators, mixers, etc.

• Install new electrical systems or modify existing ones as per business needs.

• Ensure all electrical equipment complies with safety and operational standards.

• Maintain backup systems (generators, UPS) and ensure they are functional.

• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce the risk of downtime or hazards.

• Respond to emergency breakdowns promptly to ensure minimal disruption to business.

• Maintain logs of maintenance work done and prepare reports as required.

• Coordinate with external vendors or contractors when needed.

• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards as per FSSAI and company guidelines.

Key Requirements

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant certification.

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an Electrician, preferably in hospitality, food services, or manufacturing.

• Knowledge of bakery/kitchen equipment maintenance is a strong plus.

• Familiarity with safety standards and electrical compliance.

• Ability to read electrical blueprints and technical diagrams.

• Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed (especially during breakdowns).

• Good communication and coordination skills.
