We are looking for a skilled Electrician / Fitter with hands-on experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical panels, machinery, and utility systems used in the Modular Furniture or Laminate manufacturing industry. The candidate must be able to handle routine preventive and breakdown maintenance to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment, machines, and panels.

·        Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on production machines (CNC, Panel Saw, Edge Banding, Press Machines, Flat Lam Line, Sanding Machine, Hot and Cold Press, Trimmer Drill Machine etc.).

·        Diagnose and repair electrical faults, wiring issues, and control circuit problems.

·        Ensure proper functioning of lighting, power, and control systems across the plant.

·        Assist in mechanical fitting and alignment tasks where required.

·        Follow safety protocols and lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures.

·        Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, and service records as per ISO/QMS standards.

·        Support during machine installations, commissioning, or relocations.

·        Maintain stock of electrical spares, tools, and consumables.

·        Respond to emergency breakdowns in a timely manner.

Skills & Competencies:

·        Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motors, starters, relays, and wiring diagrams.

·        Experience with industrial machinery maintenance in furniture or related industries.

·        Ability to read electrical schematics and panel drawings.

·        Basic mechanical fitting and alignment skills.

·        Use of multimeters, tools, and safety equipment.

·        Awareness of safety norms and electrical codes.

·        Problem-solving and troubleshooting attitude.

·        On Daily he should take Reading of Main Meter

·        On Daily he should Monitor Power Factor.

·         

Qualifications:

·        ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Fitter Trade.

·        Valid Electrical Work License (preferred).

·        Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial plant.
