The Electrician will be responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical systems and equipment within the mall premises, including DG (Diesel Generator) sets, LT/HT panels, and power distribution systems. The role ensures continuous and safe electrical operations across the facility.
Perform regular inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
Operate and maintain Diesel Generator (DG) sets – including starting, load monitoring, fuel tracking, and routine servicing.
Handle electrical panels, wiring, lighting, UPS, and power distribution networks.
Monitor and troubleshoot power failures, circuit issues, and equipment breakdowns.
Ensure proper functioning of escalators, elevators, and HVAC systems in coordination with technical teams.
Maintain daily electrical and DG logbooks, service records, and maintenance reports.
Support energy-saving initiatives and ensure minimum downtime in power supply.
Coordinate with external vendors for electrical and DG maintenance services.
Follow all electrical and fire safety procedures, complying with statutory standards.
Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
Experience: Minimum 3–6 years as an Electrician in malls, commercial buildings, or industrial setups, with hands-on experience in DG operations.
Sound knowledge of LT/HT panels, UPS, DG synchronization, load management, and earthing systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams.
Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and during emergencies.
