Key Responsibilities:
· Safely operate vehicles to transport goods, passengers, or materials to designated locations.
· Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS or navigation apps to ensure timely deliveries or pickups.
· Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance or safety issues.
· Load and unload cargo or assist passengers as needed.
· Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries.
· Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic and safety regulations.
· Interact with clients or customers professionally, addressing inquiries or concerns.
· Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for use.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Valid driver’s license (Commercial Driver’s License [CDL] may be required for specific roles).
· Clean driving record with no recent traffic violations.
· Proven experience as a driver (1+ years preferred; commercial driving experience a plus).
· Familiarity with GPS devices and route planning tools.
· Strong time management and organizational skills.
· Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50-70 lbs) if required.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Physical stamina to drive for extended periods and work in various weather conditions.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
