🛻 Dumper Driver – Road Construction Division
📌 Role Overview
The Dumper Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of construction materials such as gravel, sand, asphalt, and debris across various roadwork sites. This role plays a critical part in maintaining workflow continuity and supporting timely project execution.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Operate dumper trucks to transport loose materials to and from construction zones
Load and unload materials using hydraulic dump mechanisms or assistive equipment
Conduct daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections (tires, fluids, brakes, lights)
Navigate uneven terrain and confined spaces safely within active construction sites
Adhere to traffic laws and site-specific safety protocols
Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
Communicate with site supervisors and logistics teams for coordinated material movement
Perform basic truck maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
🎯 Skills & Qualifications
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record
Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating heavy-duty dump trucks
Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards
Physical stamina to handle long hours and heavy loads
Ability to interpret hand signals and follow verbal instructions
Basic mechanical knowledge for routine maintenance
