Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Ambulance Driver with a valid commercial driving license (yellow number plate) to ensure safe and timely transportation of patients. The role involves not only driving but also supporting patients during transit and assisting with their movement inside hospital premises.

Key Responsibilities

1. Safely shift patients from one location to another as per hospital/medical needs.

2. Take care of the ambulance by maintaining cleanliness, fuel, and basic upkeep.

3. Assist in transporting patients inside the hospital, ensuring comfort and safety.

4. Ensure the ambulance is always ready for emergency calls (checking equipment, fuel, and supplies).

5. Follow traffic and safety regulations, especially during emergencies.

6. Coordinate with hospital staff and emergency medical technicians (EMTs) as required.

7. Maintain basic records of trips, mileage, and ambulance condition.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driving License (Yellow Plate).

• Prior experience as an ambulance or commercial driver preferred.

• Good knowledge of local routes and traffic rules.

• Physically fit to assist in patient handling.

• Responsible, punctual, and calm in emergency situations.

Preferred Skills

• Patient-handling skills with care and sensitivity.

• Basic first aid knowledge (added advantage).

• Good communication and coordination abilities.
