Job Description: Social Media Handler / Manager
We are seeking a Social Media Executive/Manager who can Develop engaging text posts, articles, and
content for social media platforms; Create and manage content calendars.; Post Content on Social Media
platforms; and Monitor Social Media Activities such as track and respond to comments, messages, and
interactions on social media handles to maintain active engagement with the audience as per approved
Key Responsibilities:
Content Development:
* Create engaging and original text posts, articles, captions, and social media content aligned with
campaign goals and ministry communication guidelines.
* Ensure all content reflects the approved tone, style and messaging of the client
Ministry/Department.
Content Planning & Scheduling:
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar for social media platforms.
* Coordinate with the creative and communication teams for timely planning and approval of posts.
Social Media Management:
* Post approved content on official social media handles (Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram,
LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
* Ensure consistent posting frequency and platform optimization.
Monitoring & Engagement:
* Track, monitor, and analyze social media activities, audience engagement, and performance
metrics.
* Respond promptly to comments, messages, and user interactions in line with approved
communication protocols.
* Flag sensitive or policy-related feedback to the concerned authorities for guidance.
Reporting & Insights:
* Prepare regular reports on social media performance, engagement trends and campaign
effectiveness.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related
field.
* 2–5 years of experience in managing social media accounts, preferably for government, public
sector or reputed organizations.
* Excellent command of English and Hindi (both written and verbal).
* Proficiency in social media tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Tweet Deck, etc.).
* Understanding of digital communication trends, audience behavior and analytics tools.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and handle time-sensitive
