Responsibilities
Transportation and delivery: Safely and promptly deliver products to customer locations, ensuring items are handled with care.
Route planning: Plan and optimize daily routes to ensure timely and efficient delivery, using GPS and knowledge of local areas.
Loading and unloading: Carefully load and unload packages into the delivery vehicle.
Customer service: Interact professionally with customers, answer questions, address complaints, and obtain signatures upon delivery.
Payment handling: Collect cash payments from customers and maintain accurate records of transactions.
Record keeping: Maintain accurate logs of all deliveries, payments, and any issues that arise.
Vehicle maintenance: Keep the delivery vehicle clean, well-maintained, and refueled.
Safety and compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies, and report any accidents or violations to the supervisor.
