The Sales Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the sales team, ensuring smooth execution of sales activities and excellent customer service. This role bridges communication between sales, logistics, finance, and other departments to ensure timely order processing, accurate documentation, and seamless customer experience.
Assist the sales team in managing daily activities, quotations, proposals, and follow-ups with customers.
Coordinate with customers to confirm orders, delivery schedules, and product availability.
Maintain accurate records of sales, orders, customer interactions, and payments.
Support preparation of sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.
Liaise with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and invoicing.
Serve as a point of contact for customer queries, complaints, and after-sales service coordination.
Maintain customer databases (CRM systems) with updated information.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and distributors.
Prepare and maintain sales contracts, order confirmations, and delivery documentation.
Ensure all sales documentation complies with company standards and policies.
Generate weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, pending orders, and delivery status.
Coordinate sales meetings, prepare presentation materials, and assist with internal communication.
Support marketing and promotional campaigns when required.
Provide administrative support to the Sales Manager and field sales teams.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
2–5 years of experience in sales coordination, inside sales, or customer service (preferably in FMCG, manufacturing, or trading environments).
Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CRM or ERP systems is an advantage.
