Job OverviewWe are looking for a creative and efficient Waffle Chef to prepare delicious waffles, pancakes, and other quick bites for customers at our store café counter. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dessert presentation, understand taste balance, and ensure top-quality hygiene and service standards that reflect edobbon’s “You Deserve Healthier Everyday” promise.------------------------Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare fresh waffles, pancakes, and related desserts as per menu standards.Experiment and introduce new flavors, toppings, and presentations.Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.Ensure kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety compliance.Monitor ingredient inventory and report shortages to the Store Manager.Manage prep time efficiently during rush hours.Maintain equipment like waffle makers, blenders, and mixers in good condition.Provide courteous service and interact positively with customers when required.Follow standard recipes, portion sizes, and waste control measures.------------------------Skills & RequirementsMinimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Waffle Chef, Pastry Cook, or Dessert Maker.Knowledge of dessert preparation techniques and plating aesthetics.Understanding of hygiene & FSSAI standards.Basic English/Hindi communication skills.Team player with a positive attitude.Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and peak hours.Preferred QualificationsDiploma or certification in bakery/pastry/culinary arts.Prior experience in QSRs, cafés, or dessert outlets (e.g., Belgian Waffle, The Pancake Story, etc.).Creativity in developing new dessert recipes using healthy alternatives (e.g., gluten-free, low-sugar options).
