We are looking for a skilled and passionate North Indian Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate must have deep expertise in traditional and modern North Indian cuisine, with hands-on experience in preparing authentic dishes such as curries, tandoori items, breads, kebabs, and regional specialties. The role involves food preparation, kitchen supervision, quality control, and menu contribution.
Prepare a wide variety of North Indian dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian items.
Operate and manage tandoor ovens, including preparation of naan, roti, and kebabs.
Maintain authentic flavors and presentation while ensuring consistency and quality.
Plan daily kitchen operations and coordinate with the team to ensure timely service.
Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards are upheld at all times.
Monitor kitchen inventory and coordinate with procurement for ingredients and spices.
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in North Indian culinary techniques.
Innovate and contribute to seasonal and regional North Indian menu development.
Minimize food wastage and control portion sizes and cost margins.
Proven experience (1–6 years) as a North Indian Chef in a professional kitchen.
Strong knowledge of North Indian regional cuisines, cooking methods, and spice profiles.
Expertise in working with tandoor ovens, curries, gravies, and traditional breads.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high food quality.
