We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tandoor Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in traditional tandoor cooking techniques and capable of preparing high-quality breads, kebabs, and clay-oven specialties while maintaining consistency, speed, and authentic flavors.
Prepare and cook a variety of tandoor items including naan, roti, kulcha, paratha, tandoori chicken, kebabs, fish, and other clay-oven dishes.
Manage the tandoor oven, ensuring correct temperature control and fuel management.
Marinate meats and vegetables according to standard recipes and taste profiles.
Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, presentation, and quality of all dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the tandoor station in compliance with food safety standards.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
Monitor inventory of tandoor ingredients and report shortages to the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures.
Assist with menu development and introduction of new tandoor items when required.
