Job Summary:
The Tandoor Commis–1 is responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of tandoor items while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing and cooking tandoor items such as naan, roti, kebabs, tikka, and other Indian breads & starters.
• Operate and maintain the tandoor oven safely and efficiently.
• Prepare marinades, dough, and mise en place as per standard recipes.
• Ensure consistency in taste, portion, and presentation.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Keep the tandoor section clean and organized.
• Support senior chefs during service and peak hours.
• Assist in stock handling, storage, and minimizing wastage.

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as Tandoor Commis–1 or similar role.
• Basic knowledge of Indian tandoor cooking techniques.
• Understanding of food safety & hygiene standards.
• Ability to work in fast-paced kitchen environments.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
