We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Indian Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations, specializing in authentic and contemporary Indian cuisine. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of regional Indian flavors, proven leadership abilities, and the creativity to design menus that delight and inspire our guests.
Plan, develop, and execute authentic Indian menus, including regional specialties.
Supervise and manage all kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of dishes.
Train and mentor kitchen team members in Indian cooking techniques, recipes, and hygiene practices.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Innovate and introduce seasonal dishes and special menus.
Coordinate with restaurant management to plan events, banquets, and special catering orders.
Control wastage and ensure efficient use of resources.
Proven experience as an Indian Head Chef or Senior Chef in a reputed restaurant or hotel.
Expertise in North Indian, South Indian, and/or regional Indian cuisines.
Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Good knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards.
Creativity in developing new recipes and improving existing ones.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
