Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and standard recipes.
Ensure all food is cooked and presented properly and in a timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Monitor food stock levels and inform the supervisor of shortages.
Store food products in compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.
Assist in menu planning and suggest new dishes if required.
Follow proper food handling procedures and maintain personal hygiene.
Work cooperatively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team.
Proven experience as a cook or relevant role.
Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.).
Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
Excellent physical condition and stamina.
Team player with good communication skills.
Certification in food safety and hygiene is an advantage.
Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with health and safety kitchen regulations.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Fast-paced kitchen setting
May require working weekends, holidays, or early/late shifts depending on the schedule.
