Job Title: Chef - Training & Development for Corporate Tuck Shop Company

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Chef to join our corporate tuck shop company as a Training & Development Chef. The Training & Development Chef will be responsible for creating and implementing culinary training programs for our tuck shop staff, as well as developing new menu items and improving existing ones. This position requires a strong background in culinary arts, training, and development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement culinary training programs for tuck shop staff, including new hire training, ongoing training, and refresher courses

• Collaborate with tuck shop managers to identify training needs and develop training plans to meet those needs

• Develop new menu items and improve existing ones, taking into account customer feedback, cost, and nutritional considerations

• Conduct recipe testing and develop standardized recipes for use across our tuck shops

• Conduct regular audits of our tuck shops to ensure compliance with culinary and food safety standards

• Stay up-to-date on culinary trends and developments to identify new opportunities for menu innovation and improvement

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, or equivalent experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Chef, with a focus on training and development

• Strong knowledge of culinary arts, including cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and nutrition

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to develop and implement effective training programs

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
