Food Preparation & Cooking
Assist in preparing and cooking continental dishes (pastas, salads, grills, sauces, etc.).
Follow recipes and presentation standards set by the Head Chef.
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and portioning.
Kitchen Operations
Support Commi 1 and senior chefs in daily kitchen activities.
Maintain mise en place (chopping, marination, sauces, garnishing).
Ensure timely preparation of orders during service hours.
Hygiene & Cleanliness
Follow all food safety and hygiene standards.
Keep workstation clean and sanitized at all times.
Ensure proper storage of ingredients (cold & dry storage).
Inventory & Stock Management
Assist in checking daily stock of raw materials and report shortages.
Avoid wastage and contribute to cost control.
Teamwork & Learning
Coordinate with other kitchen staff for smooth workflow.
Be open to learning new recipes, techniques, and menu items.
Step in and assist in other sections when required.
Preferred Background
Minimum 1 year of experience in a continental kitchen (QSR, café, or restaurant).
Should have knowledge of basic sauces, salads, breads, and continental cooking styles.
