We are looking for a skilled and passionate Commis II – Tandoor Chef who has a strong command over traditional and modern Tandoori dishes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with tandoor equipment and the preparation of kebabs, rotis, naan, tikkas, and other classic tandoori items.
Assist in the preparation and cooking of all tandoori dishes as per standard recipes and presentation.
Operate the tandoor oven efficiently and ensure consistent food quality and taste.
Prepare marinades, skewers, and mise en place for all tandoori items.
Cook and grill meats, seafood, and vegetables using tandoor techniques.
Ensure all hygiene, health, and safety standards are maintained.
Work closely with the Tandoor CDP or Sous Chef to meet kitchen demands.
Maintain proper storage and rotation of products.
Help with receiving and stocking supplies in the tandoor section.
Maintain cleanliness of tandoor area and kitchen equipment.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Commis II in the Tandoor section.
Strong knowledge of North Indian & Mughlai tandoori dishes.
Ability to manage pressure during busy hours.
Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene.
Team player with good communication skills.
Willing to learn and grow within the kitchen team.
Experience in hotel, restaurant, or cloud kitchen setups.
Knowledge of portion control and kitchen documentation.
