Commis II – Multi Cuisine - Chennai (Guindy) :
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare mise en place, cook, and plate multi-cuisine dishes as per standardized recipes and portion sizes.
Assist in breakfast, lunch, and dinner service; manage live counters or banquets as assigned.
Follow guidance from CDP/DCDP/Chef for prep, cooking methods, and presentation standards.
Step in for Commis III tasks and train helpers when required.
Coordinate with service teams for timely pass and guest special requests.
Must-Have Qualifications:
1–3 years’ experience as Commis II/Commis III in hotel or branded restaurant kitchens with multi-cuisine exposure.
Strong skills in Indian and South Indian basics; exposure to Continental/Chinese is an advantage.
Understanding of hygiene standards, allergens, and cross-contamination controls.
