We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chinese Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will specialize in preparing authentic Chinese dishes, ensuring high standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene.
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of Chinese dishes (starters, main courses, noodles, rice, sauces, etc.).
Ensure food quality, consistency, and timely preparation.
Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in the kitchen.
Assist in menu planning, portion control, and recipe standardization.
Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service.
Train and guide junior kitchen staff, if required.
Adapt recipes and menus based on customer preferences and seasonal availability.
Proven experience as a Chinese Cook / Chef in a restaurant or hotel.
Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques (stir-frying, steaming, deep-frying, etc.).
Ability to handle woks, sauces, and authentic Chinese ingredients.
Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with good communication skills.
Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
