We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chinese Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in preparing authentic Chinese cuisine, including a variety of soups, starters, noodles, rice dishes, gravies, and specialty items. The candidate should ensure high standards of taste, hygiene, presentation, and consistency in every dish.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a wide range of authentic Chinese dishes (both veg & non-veg).
Develop and innovate new menu items based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.
Maintain quality, taste, portion size, and presentation of dishes.
Ensure kitchen hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
Manage stock levels of raw materials and assist in inventory control.
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in Chinese cooking techniques.
Work with management to control food costs and minimize wastage.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chinese Chef or specialized cook.
Knowledge of popular Chinese cuisines (Hakka, Sichuan, Cantonese, Indo-Chinese).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
Strong sense of taste, creativity, and attention to detail.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
Team player with good communication skills.
