We are looking for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at our continental café in South Goa. The menu focuses on pastas, salads, bruschetta, pizzas, breakfasts, smoothies, toasts, sides, dips, and creative starters. The role requires creativity, consistency, and strong kitchen management.
Plan, prepare, and execute dishes with creativity and consistency.
Supervise and guide the kitchen team (pizza specialist, helpers, steward).
Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and discipline in the kitchen.
Control food cost, portioning, and reduce wastage.
Ensure food presentation and taste meet high standards.
Train and support junior staff; encourage multitasking.
Handle peak service with efficiency and calm.
Property operates 12 months; chefs must work minimum 9 months full-time (option to continue year-round).
12-hour shift, 7 days a week, continuous duty (short break only if guest flow allows).
