We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate All-Rounder Commis Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing a variety of cuisines, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and assisting senior chefs in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present dishes across different cuisines as per standards.
Assist in menu planning, mise-en-place, and food preparation.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen.
Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
Adapt to various cooking sections (hot kitchen, cold kitchen, bakery, etc.).
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Commis Chef (all-rounder preferred).
Knowledge of multi-cuisine cooking techniques and ingredients.
Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and operations.
Strong sense of hygiene and food safety standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Diploma/Certification in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred.
