Job description-
Prepare and cook menu items in your section to the highest quality standards.
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff (Commis/trainees).
Ensure food is prepared and served on time during service.
Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in compliance with FSSAI/HACCP guidelines.
Control portion size, minimize wastage, and manage stock rotation (FIFO).
Collaborate with the Sous Chef in menu planning, costing, and specials.
Ensure compliance with kitchen SOPs and standard recipes.
Monitor kitchen equipment and report maintenance requirements.
Work closely with other sections to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
