We are looking for a skilled and creative Bakery Chef with expertise in preparing a variety of cake toppings, spreads, fillings, and ganache's. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in crafting high-quality, visually appealing, and delicious cake decorations to enhance our bakery’s offerings.
Prepare and develop a variety of cake toppings, including buttercreams, whipped creams, fondant, glazes, and meringues.
Create different spreads and fillings such as fruit compotes, custards, chocolate ganache's, caramel, and cream cheese frostings.
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and appearance of all toppings and fillings.
Maintain proper storage and handling of ingredients to ensure freshness and quality.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
Proven experience as a Bakery Chef, Pastry Chef, or Decorator specializing in cake toppings and fillings.
Strong knowledge of different types of frostings (Swiss meringue, Italian buttercream, etc.), ganache's, and decorative techniques.
Understanding of ingredient pairing and flavor balancing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Culinary or pastry certification is a plus.
Previous work in a bakery, patisserie, or cake shop.
Familiarity with vegan, gluten-free, or allergen-friendly alternatives is a bonus.
