Job Overview
As a Team Member in the Bakery department at Salad Days, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality bakery goods.
This position requires a combination of skills in baking, precise measurement, and adherence to food safety regulations, ensuring that all products meet the company’s standards for quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Produce a variety of bakery products with consistency and high quality, adhering to predefined recipes and standards.
Utilize industrial baking equipment to efficiently produce required quantities.
Knowledgeably operate and maintain bakery equipment, ensuring functionality and safety at all times.
Conduct daily inventory checks to manage supplies and report stock levels.
Ensure all finished products are stored and packaged according to company standards to maintain freshness and quality.
Monitor and uphold strict sanitation and hygiene standards in the bakery area to ensure a clean working environment.
Attend and participate in daily production meetings to align on day-to-day activities and improve processes.
Plan and manage mise-en-place to ensure timely execution of bakery tasks.
Follow all food safety and hygiene standards religiously to maintain health and safety across bakery operations.
Requirements
Experience with industrial bakery equipment is an advantage.
Strong understanding of both Metric and Imperial measurement systems
Proficiency in managing high-temperature conditions and safely handling hazardous materials.
Capable of working under pressure with a strong attention to detail.
